THE GRIND

Long Synopsis Street slimebag Luke Blackwater (C. Thomas Howell) and tech geek Josh (Michael Welch) join forces to raise easy on-line money through a reality peep show called hotgirlsinahouse.com. While the webisodes appeal to teen-aged Joshs on-line user mentality, Luke considers the e-venture his last chance to get out from under a gambling debt that was recently sold by his bookie (Brent Briscoe) to a Mexican mob boss (Danny Trejo) whose thugs introduce Lukes left hand to the blades of a garbage disposal. Finding girls off the streets to participate in the big brother style webcast proves easy enough, recruiting Brooke, a homeless strip club bartender (Lauren Walsh,) pool shark Alex (Sarah Scott,) tattooed escort Sophia (Eve Mauro,) and Naomi, an over-sexed MILF (Christina DeRosa,) with no considerations for background checks. Luke needs seed money for the set, computers and a dedicated ISP. Platonic friend Courtney (Tania Allen) invests, secretly hoping to win Lukes cynical heart, and wiring a long-empty warehouse gets the entrepreneurs on-line in no time. Their confidence is bolstered when they go live, until the realization that their site is just sitting in the no-mans-land of the Internet. While Josh searches for innovative ways to attract hits, Luke is offered a more lucrative deal by a local hood, Chuck Capp (Tom Sizemore) selling credit card information on the meager hits they do attract as each girls quirky personalities are streamed for all to see. On-line antics become more and more sexual, hits increase, and the websites PayPal account grows. Luke leaves cash incentives for the girls to encourage more provocative behavior, seeing a near-future recoupment of Courtneys investment, payback on the mob debt and financial freedom. The girls play right into the scheme: fighting with each other by day, competing for viewers by night. Hits grow and grow into the tens of thousands. The competition amongst the girls turns threatening and one night, in the shadows of the monitor, a gloved hand is seen running a knife down Brookes cleavage. The three webmasters pull the plug and rush into the warehouse only to find Brooke missing from her bedroom. Each of the hot girls in the house wonder if jealousy over the nightly bonuses has encouraged one of the others to eliminate the competition
could there be a killer in the house? Maybe a deranged viewer has found their location? Or could the Mexican mobsters have located Luke? The show goes off line
permanently. Nobody calls the cops.
Luke cashes in on the stolen identities. He pays off his debt to the mob. And with the spare cash, he buys his own revenge for the thugs. Bolstered by an otherwise successful venture, the three former webmasters plan their next scheme
and Josh slips away with one last envelope of cash
for the cooperative Brooke.
