Pirates "GRAYed" Out
Starting in 2009, WFE participated in ground-breaking anti-piracy programs for several of its titles. "iWatch," a anti-piracy program removed the hit film, THE GRAY MAN, from illegal world-wide servers. This service was followed by the breakthrough P2P 'watch' of our films via Guardeley Ltd. which seeks out downloaded files on individual computers. WFE's owner, Barbara Mudge is very excited that these programs have become available to promote legitimate program viewing. Mudge says, "While I'm delighted that consumers want to watch our films, we encourage their legitimate usage making it possible for our producers to continue creating professional motion pictures of quality and talent. Recent US government attention to this blight is very encouraging as well." WFE has entered many of its feature films: BITTER/SWEET, THE GRIND, LONELY STREET, PROTOTYPE, THE GRAY MAN, KILLING STRAIN and ALLEGED into these watch programs and actively supports the Creative America lobby bringing consumer attention to the plight of piracy on the creative community.
