Samantha (Heather Graham) and Craig (James Purefoy) are a young couple who seem to have it all – except for a baby. After an insemination treatment at a high-tech fertility clinic, Samantha learns she’s pregnant with twins. When they find a beautiful house and Craig finds a publisher for his book, the couple feels truly blessed. But Samantha is followed everywhere by a sinister hooded stranger who delivers a dire warning and she senses that something may be horribly wrong with her babies. When it comes to headhunters, Vincent Palmer (Christian Slater) is the high-tech industry’s go-to guy. For a million-dollar retainer, he always gets his man, whether the prospect wants to change jobs or not. Vincent never takes no for an answer and will do whatever it takes – be it more money, additional perks or the cold-blooded murder of a family member – to make a deal.
